Flipper for YouTube is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose information when you use our Chrome Extension.

Information We Collect

We strive to collect as little data as possible.

• Usage Data: We do not collect or store any information about your browsing history, YouTube credentials, or video preferences.
• Local Storage: The extension uses chrome.storage.local to store your personal preference (Enabled/Disabled state) and your free trial status (number of videos flipped). This data stays entirely on your local machine and is never sent to our servers.
• Payment Data: Payments are processed through ExtensionPay and Stripe. We do not have access to your credit card details or financial information. ExtensionPay may collect your email address and payment status to manage your license.

Permissions

The extension requires the following permissions to function:

• storage: To remember your settings and trial status locally.
• host_permissions (*://*.youtube.com/*): To allow the extension to restructure the YouTube layout on your screen.
• host_permissions (https://extensionpay.com/*): To securely verify your payment status and manage your license.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your information to outside parties.

Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in an updated version of the extension and this document.
